O2C Newsletter August 2015

Wow, we can’t believe it’s August! Summer is soon to be over (don’t tell me off for saying that!) and I don’t think we’re quite ready to let go of it yet, even if we haven’t had the best weather!

The pace hasn’t changed much since last month, we’re still busy as ever and have so much to update you on.

Let’s start this month’s newsletter off with a great piece of news. Our social media training has been so popular with Hampshire Chamber of Commerce members that we’ve been booked for 2016! That, if I remember correctly, will be our fourth year – time really does fly!

COMPLETED PROJECTS

Back in April, Google announced that mobile friendliness (or lack of) would become a ranking factor. Ever since, we’ve been very busy bees working on responsive websites for our clients. The following have recently gone live:

Fourways Vehicle Solutions – Fleet and lease vehicle provider

Fourways Self Drive – Personal car hire

Janice Haddon – Life coaching

Blendworth – Interior design and fabric house

CJH – Cleaning services

Phil Curl – Accountants

Pairview

We’ve been working with Pairview to create three awesome web video and animation projects. The first has been completed and sent over for review and we’re now excited to get on to the next one.

PROJECTS IN PROGRESS

BeeMyMinder

We really enjoy working with this client and have completed a range of projects, some of which are ongoing. Recently, we’ve been providing our CRO (Conversion Rate Optimisation) services to enhance their website and promote their marketing messages.

This will increase their page content for SEO and hopefully convert those web visits into more sales. Watch this space!

Pompey in the Community

We spilt the beans about this project in last month’s newsletter and were bursting to let everyone know, so we’re going to keep mentioning it 😉

We’re so pleased to be working with Pompey in the Community and the building of their brand new footballing website is very much in progress.

The team have been working hard to make it live as soon as possible, which is planned to be soon. Sorry about the secrets (still!), but it will add to the surprise 😉 Keep your eye out for any updates, you know that we’ll let you know as soon as.

Callidus

After our kickoff meeting with this recruitment company, we got straight to work on the designs for their new website.

Great news, they loved them! We’re now building the site, adding functionalities such as a feed into the internal data system and job board applications. This will make everything easier for the user and we certainly like a happy customer.

Hawk Conservancy Trust

Working with this company before on social media branding and event branding, our marketing team are performing a social media analysis. We will be following this up with social media training, led by our in-house gurus.

Cornerstone Tutors

This company has been great to work with, and having the opportunity to start with a blank canvas has been fab. The client has now seen the web design (and of course loves it) and based on an agreed sitemap, our wordsmiths are creating the copy from scratch. The next step will be a keyword analysis and then on to building the pages. Exciting stuff!

NEW BUSINESS

Blingo Show

We are super excited to be working with Blingo Show, the ultimate girls night out that mixes bingo with glam, fun and designer goodies! Sounds good right? We were eager beavers and have already had the kickoff, which went extremely well.

We’ll be providing them with our expert social media savviness (and sassiness), spreading the word about their unique events. They are also supporting some very worthwhile causes, so we’re working closely with Wessex Cancer Trust and Portsmouth ITC to help boost awareness and get those bookings flooding in!

Magnum Events

Another new client to add into the pot of awesomeness is Magnum Events, a conference and events management service. We can’t wait to get started on building their new website and we’re pleased to say that we’ll be providing them with our specialist SEO service too.

Platinum Care

We worked with this company earlier in the year on their branding and they couldn’t be more complimentary. Receiving lovely feedback never gets old! We can now confirm that we’ll be designing Platinum Care’s new website, as well as producing a bunch of POS materials. Happy days!

Winchester Skoda and Garland Motors

Another social media client to add to our list, Winchester Skoda and Garland Motors approached us to give their social media a makeover! The branding is now complete (and live) and we’ll be continuing to produce their social media content. Keep an eye out for some of their exciting offers 😉

North Hampshire Medical Fund

This independent charity approached us to give their website a revamp. We sent over a sitemap and the team came back to us quickly saying they were happy with us to proceed. We’ll be cracking on with the web design soon!

Think Design

We’re really looking forward to working with this graphic design company, creative minds thinking alike and all that 😉 We’ve already had a kickoff meeting with them, where we bounced lots of ideas off one another. Next step is to get the sitemap sorted, so we can get started on the designs.

Phew! I think that might be everything… Another good, long read for you guys as we’ve had so much on…we’re looking forward to seeing what next month brings. Have a lovely August and keep an eye out for any updates and news via our Twitter!

Amongst all of our projects, we’ve found a little time to update our ever-growing portfolio, check it out and let us know what you think 🙂
