O2C Newsletter – September 2013

Why hello! It seems like only yesterday that I was writing the August newsletter. It’s been another busy month (yeah yeah we all say that – BUT IT’S TRUE!!). Let’s get started…

NEW CLIENTS

Cloudmore

Having initially met Cloudmore through our interactions on Twitter, we quickly got to grips with what they were all about. We tendered for the project and were pleased that they chose to work with us on their new web design, search engine optimisation SEO and website maintenance going forward. We’re already in the thick of design reviews… we don’t muck about.

Aplus Learning

Who we met at the Business Show in London, has commissioned us to create a brand spanking new corporate identity. From there we will create a brand guidelines document, alongside some business cards and letterhead designs.

Kitt Consultancy

Is another company with fabulous taste from the Business Show in London. We will be designing and building their new company website, alongside optimising their website copy for organic SEO with ongoing SEO Management activities for the next year.

Hampshire Chamber of Commerce (HCoC)

Social Media Training

We are chuffed to bits that our free Social Media Training courses with HCoC members have been going down a storm! So much so, we will be providing additional training workshops alongside The Hampshire Chamber of Commerce in 2014!

Running both free and paid course options throughout the year, we will be providing even more hints and tips to get companies moving in the social sphere. More news will be announced through The Hampshire Chamber of Commerce as we progress, but ‘excited’ isn’t the word!

PROGRESSING PROJECTS

This month has been all about getting creative with our client project plans – making sure everyone is getting what they need, – when they need it! We like to think of ourselves as swans… 😉

The Nadler / base2stay hotels

We’ve been rather busy optimising their website copy and working alongside their existing designer. We needed to quickly get the site where it needs to be in terms of a user journey and code re-alignment to start to see SEO results. On top of this we’re in the final throws of creating their blog, having designed, written copy and populated the site. We also stayed in all three luxury hotels in August, writing up our experiences and producing a media plan for ongoing articles (it’s a hard life!).

Arval

We are so close we can smell it! We should be going to print over the next few weeks, and having received the dummy run of our marketing concept, it’s all looking rather fab, if we do say so ourselves! In addition, we have been working with other members of the team to provide marketing support, all of which is progressing with the same level of positivity!

12 College Place

They have now chosen their new logo and approved the website design to boot. We are in the midst of building the website to be fully optimised for SEO, and providing our copywriting services too.

MyUni

In the final stages of the site build, we are all set on target to get it launched for the deadline. We’ve created some awesome social media designs that will get them noticed and also getting their business card designs printed for them too.

PUPDATE

Dexter has been helping us this month with our marketing brainstorm meetings… He really helped by suggesting “meat” as one of the options for our hit-list. Unfortunately the client didn’t go for that one… next time, Dexter, next time.

So…as ever I will leave you with a poignant quote from the little rascal:

“Give me food and I’ll love you forever. If I don’t get food, I’ll eat your shoes instead. You’re welcome.”
