This year the One2create team came out of the blocks like an oiled up racehorse fired out of a… well, out of some kind of weird contraption that fires racehorses like cannonballs. Not that we know of any such machine (we’re not in the insane machine development business) nor would we condone one, if it did exist.
What we are trying to say is that there has been plenty going on.
Daily Echo South Coast Business Works 2013
We were delighted to exhibit at the South Coast Business Works. As usual there was a real buzz around our stand with a steady stream of visitors coming over time and again to see the development of one of our live illustrations.
As with all the events we attend we had a great time and met loads of fascinating people, whom we look forward to seeing again soon.
Hampshire Chamber of Commerce Social Media Seminar
While half the team attended the South Coast Business Works, the other half was busy presenting a social media workshop for the Hampshire Chamber of Commerce.
Our guidance on how to get started with the worlds of Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn included topics such as how to schedule posts, discover relevant content and generate reports. We also showed how to get the most of social media dashboards like Hootsuite and Sproutsocial.
The attendees really enjoy participating and gave us a lot of great feedback. They just wished it was longer as there was so much to learn!
We love sharing our knowledge and will be running more workshops and seminars in the near future. We will of course let you know when and where as we wouldn’t want you missing out!
County Air Ambulance Gala Support
Christmas seems like a distant memory for most, but following a highly successful fundraising gala for the County Air Ambulance Trust in December, we have the final figures!
We are pleased to announce that almost £3,000 was raised to help fund the great work that they do!
The gala attracted a number of high profile guests, including Formula 1 legend Murray Walker OBE, who gave great insight into the world of motor sport as our after dinner speaker.
Lena Samuels, Marketing & PR Manager at the County Air Ambulance Trust, commented:
“The Trust has been helping to save lives through its – HELP Appeal which raises funds for hospital helipads in order to accelerate care for trauma or critically ill patients. Without the continued support from One2create and other sponsors, the life-saving work we do would not be possible.
“One2create sponsored the champagne reception and were instrumental in the run up to and during the event, providing creative thought, event decoration and support throughout the evening It was a pleasure to work with them and we are very grateful for their support.”
The Trust will also be exhibiting alongside us at Business South 2013 in March, so do carry on reading to sign up below. They also have a number of exciting projects planned for this year, but for now, watch this space!
Business South 2013
We are proud as punch to be official sponsors of the Business South Show on the 20th & 21st March. As always we will spring a few surprises at our stand, so be sure to come and see us.
That’s not all though. At 1pm on the Tuesday our MD Dave, will be presenting a seminar as part of the official schedule. With the title ‘What the #!?% is marketing anyway?’ you can be sure that he will deliver a lot of insightful, and perhaps surprising information.
So what else is going on?
As always the office is a whirlwind of activity with lots of work coming in thick and fast.
Here is a quick rundown of our current active projects.
Anya Bridal Couture – We launched a beautiful new website for the team at Anya Bridal this week. It’s had fantastic feedback via Facebook and Twitter so far, with their clients saying they absolutely love it!
Arnold Clark Vehicle Management – We are happily working away on a number of PR releases for one of our newest clients. Arnold Clark Vehicle Management is a huge name in the vehicle management industry, and we are still beside ourselves that they have chosen us to steer their first forages into the public relations world.
UK Flyers – A whole new website with e-commerce functionality and search engine optimisation went live recently. It is a major development for the Portsmouth based print company, allowing them to sell a vast and growing range of products directly from the website. Not only that, their customers can now even upload their own designs onto the products they wish to order.
Airline Transport Pilot Selection – The first of five fantastic websites took flight this month. To the delight of the client it delivers an eye-catching and easy-to-navigate online presence for their flying school. Watch this space for the next sites coming live over the coming months.
Direct First Aid – This new first aid company required branding that allowed them to be viewed as personal yet reputable. They also needed a website that they could update with a minimum of fuss. We are happy to say that the website is now live, together with their freshly designed social media channels. All look resplendent with the new branding, which has been made consistent with their social media channels.
And what’s on the horizon?
With the impending approach of spring (although, admittedly it doesn’t feel like it) an exciting number of new clients are being welcomed into the soon-to-be lush greenery of the One2create offices.
First of all, CREA, a consumer data market research company, recently brought us on board to deliver a newly developed SEO website and also assist their PR activities.
We are also soon to welcome Revitalise Gardens, who want us to help grow (see what we did there) their business with a new website with content management system functionality. They have also asked us to design an eye-catching animated banner for them, which will really showcase the beautiful work they do.
A couple of projects that are currently underway are a website development project for Wheatsheaf Trust, plus a new website for Charmol Interiors.
So, with all that work to get on with, we better be off. May we wish all our clients, both new and old, and everyone else besides, a safe and happy end to the winter.
And remember: be kind to horses.
