Scarlet Bakes

Scarlet Bakes is a Hampshire-based company, whose founders share a real passion for baking.

They lovingly developed a range of premium, simple to use baking mixes, which are beautifully presented in traditional glass Kilner jars.

One2create were approached to bring their products to life, encapsulating the 'home baked' feel of the brand and allow for the company's expansion into larger markets.

As such, we worked on the logo and packaging for boxed mixes and labels for their Kilner jars — ten labels and three flavour boxes in total.

Scarlet Bakes' specified their target market as being delis, farm shops and high-end retailers, so the designs would ultimately have to reflect this, communicating the genuine quality of their locally sourced, additive-free produce.

Our packaging concept was based on ideas of real authenticity and genuine home cooking.

In keeping with the style of the Scarlet Bakes box designs, we also created a number of large-scale exhibition graphic panels, business cards and flyers. These materials were used to further strengthen the company's brand identity and generate a real visual impact at industry events and shows.
