One2create's remit for this project was to develop and design a new website for emergency services personnel that reflected the fun side of the typical dating site.

The unique circumstances that uniformed personnel have in their jobs and the restrictions that shift patterns bring — working away or being on tour — means keeping a long-term relationship can be extremely tricky.

We used a varied colour scheme to put the site together that evoked strong female connotations, but still retained an entertaining and light-hearted look and feel.

It provided the ability to search and contact members for free, taking only a minute to register, after which users could start searching through the hundreds of thousands of uniformed members looking for people in similar positions to themselves — whether they simply wanted to date a man/woman in uniform or were looking for a meaningful relationship.

As a part of the project, we took on not only the website's aesthetics and functionality, but the logo design and branding.
