Bespoke extranet sites developed to meet individual fleet customer demands have been crucial in enabling Inchcape Fleet Solutions to continue to expand its contract hire and fleet management business. As such, it was of paramount importance that the extranets remained at the forefront of technology in order to set it apart from its competitors.
Now enhanced, next generation extranet sites are being rolled out to all major fleet customers. The newly developed extranet sites utilise the very latest Microsoft .NET technology and are viewed by Inchcape Fleet Solutions as a landmark industry development while giving maximum client data protection.
The technology enables Inchcape Fleet Solutions to provide customers with significantly improved functionality and enables fleet managers and drivers to configure the extranet ‘dashboard’ to meet their personal requirements thus increasing bespoke capability.

Integrated within the clients’ bespoke extranet we have recently completely re-engineered the online quotation and order tool. Drivers are able to generate quotes in real time with access to accurate and reliable vehicle data. They are able to research vehicle options and access independent road test information. Comparisons of multiple vehicle quotations, alternative product costs and environmental performance data (CO2 Rating) on each vehicle has been made so simple, in order to to evaluate their personal taxation costs.
Combined with enhanced visuals and security, the system enables restrictions on vehicle quote parameters, limiting driver access either by overall policy restriction or their individual rental allowance or grade allocation.
FleetVision is a newly developed system designed in response to Inchcape Fleet Solutions’ client – Virgin Media. FleetVision is a fully specified vehicle administration system designed for deployment within a clients business.
It allows fleet stakeholders and line managers to undertake core fleet administration on a single system, and contains workflow management tools to ensure compliance to individual client policy. This can be remembering to conduct annual vehicle checks or to book service and repairs.
The system can be tailored to support a client’s individual policy and is fully integrated within our single platform administration and management system. This allows efficient transfer of data and allows us to provide real time data management and reporting.
